The approach
A gentler way

Compassionate Inquiry® is an approach created by Dr. Gabor Maté and further developed by Sat Dharam Kaur. It brings compassionate attention to the beliefs, emotions and bodily experiences that can shape how we meet life.
We begin with what feels present for you. Together, we explore with curiosity, making room for what you notice and the meaning it holds.
The invitation is to listen more closely to yourself, with room to pause and move at your own pace.

Where do we begin?
With something that feels present for you: a feeling, a recurring pattern or an experience you would like to understand. You do not need to arrive with a perfectly formed question.
What might we explore?
Through conversation and gentle attention, we may notice thoughts, emotions and sensations in the body, exploring the meaning they hold for you.
Can we slow down or pause?
There is room to pause, ask questions and say what feels comfortable. Your pace and willingness guide the conversation.
